QUALIFIER FLIGHTS
If you are travelling on the tournament days only, BMW Australia & New Zealand will cover the cost of a return economy flight for all BMW Golf Cup qualifiers from your home port (where your dealership is based), arriving in Brisbane on Sunday 12th October, and departing on Wednesday 15th October 2025. Group flights will be booked on your behalf. Should you wish to travel outside the group dates or change home port or destination, additional airfare charges will incur, which will be at your own expense. Any requests for flight changes are subject to availability.
Partner/Guest Flights
Your partner/guest’s airfare costs will be at your own expense. We recommend that you book your Partner/Guest Flights directly with the airline to ensure that any refunds/travel credits are kept in your name.
Destination Events Travel team is able to assist with your partner/guest’s flights.
Please note:
- a booking fee will apply
- any changes after ticketing will incur a change fee, plus any fare differences incurred by the airline.
AIRPORT TRANSFERS
On Program Dates
BMW Australia & New Zealand will arrange group Airport transfers as below:
Sunday, 12th October 2025: from Brisbane Airport to InterContinental Sanctuary Cove
Wednesday, 15th October 2025: from InterContinental Sanctuary Cove to Brisbane Airport
These will coincide with specific group flights booked (if applicable).
If your partner/guest travels on the same group flights with you on group arrival date (12th October 2025), and/or group departure date (Wednesday 15th October 2025), group Airport transfers will be accommodated for your partner/guest as well.
Outside Program Dates
Airport transfers outside program dates are at your own cost and responsibility to organise.
BAGGAGE
Below baggage allowance will be arranged for all qualifiers with Group Flights:
- 1 piece of your standard check-in baggage - Max 23kg
- 1 piece of oversized (for your golf clubs), rather than 1 piece of your golf club - Max 23kg
- 1 piece of carry-on baggage: Max 7 - 10kg (depending on airlines)
Please note if you are booking your own flights or partner flights, these allowances will not apply.
All New Zealand travellers with domestic connections will need to collect their bags upon landing in Auckland on their return, in order to complete customs and immigration procedures.
PASSPORTS & VISAS
(for New Zealand Qualifiers ONLY)
A current passport is required for travel to Australia. New Zealand passport holders do not need to apply for a visa to enter Australia.
Australia requires that your passport must be valid only for the period of your intended travel in and out of Australia. There is no requirement for your passport to be valid for six months after your travel.
If you are travelling on a passport other than New Zealand, please check with Australia Immigration on the visa or permit required to enter Australia: https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-finder/visit
Please also confirm with New Zealand immigration if you also need a visa or permit to re-enter New Zealand.
